About
A full liquid diet is made up mostly of liquids along with some foods that are low in fiber. You may have any liquids - those you can see through or those that you cannot see through. This diet may be recommended by your healthcare provider if experiencing problems chewing or swallowing or to decrease the workload on your digestive tract. It may also be used after a surgery as a diet advancement after a clear liquid diet and before consuming solid foods.

Breakfast

1 cup Cream of Wheat with butter and brown sugar
6 oz low fat Greek yogurt (plain, vanilla, or lemon flavored)
1 cup low-fat milk
1 cup coffee or tea (sugar and cream ok to add)

One nutritional supplement or shake (i.e., Ensure Complete®)

Lunch

1 cup tomato soup
4 oz pudding
4 oz custard
1 cup juice (no pulp)
1 cup coffee or tea (sugar and cream ok to add)
